The 14-24mm F2.8 DG HSM Art is a surprising, but very welcome, addition to Sigma's ever growing Art range of premium lenses, offering a faster aperture of f/2.8 at the expense of 2mm in focal length when compared to the very similar Sigma 12-24mm F4 DG HSM Art lens, whilst being cheaper than it's...

If you're after a ultra-wide zoom lens for your full-frame camera, then Sigma's 14-24mm f/2.8 G HSM | Art is the pick of the bunch, outperforming competing own-brand lenses from the likes of Canon, Nikon and Sony.
The Sigma 14-24mm F2.8 DG HSM Art is an ultra-wide zoom lens with a bright aperture that's extremely sharp, especially when stopped down.
A significant number of photographers will find a wide aperture, ultra-wide angle zoom lens to be a valuable member of their kits. Is this the right one for you? While the AF consistency I'm seeing from this lens isn't impressive and a misaligned lens is always costly to us in terms of time, I like...
I can think of any number of practical applications for the Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 super wideangle zoom, from indoor real estate photography, to world travel, to close groups and weddings; but the creative possibilities are even more intriguing.
This is a very good lens. As any lens they are compromises but I think this is the one for me. -The lens itself looks and feel like a precision instrument, like a lens should be made. The rubber rings are very precise, I like it. It feels well balanced on my Canon 6D Mark II despite its weight.
I purchased this lens for landscape photography with a D810 and have now used it a couple of times in the field. Photographing the canopy of a tree from underneath and examining the small branches, the lens is very sharp into the corners at both 14 and 24 mm.
Had this lens for a week now. First shot astro with it: sharp, only the slightest coma in the far corners, and minimal vignette. For interiors this lens has very little distortion...I couldn't detect any on the tests I did. For general landscape photography it is a very nice range and sharp.
This is an amazing lens! At 2.8 you get the expected deterioration, but for an almost fisheye, its quite sharp even at 3.5. Also, this thing is fast! I shot a concert in near pitch black, and it focused with my 5Diii near perfectly. The only downside I have, is this is a HUGE HEAVY lens.....
I bought this lens for astro photography and landscape but have yet to use it for that. I have however tried it out to shoot a concert in a cave it really was amazed at how sharp this lens can be. I am using it currently on a SONY AR7II with the MC-11 adapter. Pleased so far.
After having purchased the Sigma 180mm macro lens, all reservations of purchasing Sigma was off the table (I do need to readjust for the focus rings opposite of Nikon). This lens is beautiful. Built like a tank and feels great when using. Super sharp from edge to edge.
I had put off this purchase while evaluating several alternative zoom lenses as well as several prime lenses. After just a few outings, this lens provides the breadth of range, the flexibility and the sharpness Ive been looking fo without carrying multiple lenses.
