The Samyang 14mm is a ultra wide-angle manual focus lens designed for both Full-Frame and APS-C cameras.

Samyang 14mm F2.8 features exceptional optical performance, and excellent price advantage. Even when used wide open at F2.8 its image quality is superb, and is perfectly suited for landscape photography which requires high quality images. It's great for both professional and amateur photographers and videographers.

The Samyang 14mm F2.8 IF ED UMC Aspherical Lens features high build quality, with a built-in petal shaped lens hood to block any unnecessary light behind the camera. The Samyang 14mm F2.8 features a wide, ribbed manual focus ring which is smooth and well-damped.

The optical construction is 14 elements in 10 optical groups with 3 high refractive index elements, 2x ED element, an aspherical hybrid element plus a aspherical glass element. The latest generation of anti-reflective layers: UMC - Ultra Multi Coated are incorporated to minimise flare and ghosting. The lens is supplied with a special front snap-on lens cap, rear lens cap, and soft lens case.

An aperture control motor and CPU chip is installed within 14mm F2.8 ED AS IF UMC Canon AE lens to assist Auto Exposure(AE) for Canon cameras. The aperture can be controlled from camera body thanks to the motor and chip. Also the appropriate focus is guided with indicator light.

Hybrid aspherical lenses(H-ASP)

Hybride aspherical lenses provide excellent image and contrast even through maximum aperture in centre and edge of frame.

High Refractive, extra low dispersion(HR ED)

High refractive elements and low dispersion lenses reduce chromatic aberration effectively to get excellent image quality.

Ultra multi coating(UMC)

We apply the UMC(ultra multi coating) of our own technology to reduce flare and ghost as much as possible and get clear and fresh colour image.

Glass aspherical lenses(AS)

The adaption glass aspherical lenses reproduce aberration to get high quality image in centre and edge of frame and excellent contrast.

Internal focusing(IF)

The internal focusing controls focusing inside of barrels so that is so free from contamination of dust.

Circular aperture with 6 blades

6 aperture blades create almost a full circle when closed and express ray beautifully as starlight.
