The original CamRanger was the first wireless camera-control device and set the standard for professional photographers with wireless tethering and advanced remote camera control.
CamRanger 2 takes this to the next level; with patented technology, faster speed, more advanced features and support for Sony, Fuji, Canon and Nikon cameras. Use the CamRanger App with your iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows PCs.
- 5x faster than original CamRanger
- 500ft / 150m Range
- Support for Canon, Nikon, Sony & Fujifilm cameras
- On-board SD card slot with multi-functions
- Numerous camera mounting options
- Free CamRanger App loaded with new features
- App available for iOS, Android, Mac & Windows platforms
- Rechargeable, replaceable 3300mAh Lithium ion battery
- Dual-band, long-range WiFi and networking
CamRanger 2 has dual-band WiFi (802-11ac and n), with faster speed and longer range. The WiFi network has real world transfer speeds about 5x faster than the original and can maintain its connection over 150metres (500 feet). There is an SD card slot for recording ratings and organising images and memory-card backup - great if your camera only has one memory card slot.
The removable battery lasts about 5 hours and can be charged inside the CamRanger 2, or with a special external charger. CamRanger 2 connects to the camera with a USB cable and the threaded socket in the base allows for a variety of mounting options, whether shooting handheld or from a tripod.
Cut the cord and wirelessly tether with the CamRanger 2. The quick RAW feature transfers images almost instantly. The wireless setup allows review and rating of images in the field or studio, by a client, director or photographer. You can remotely view the photos from a camera's memory card and compare on location. There are many overlay options, including watermarks and image overlays for custom display.
Perform basic editing by adjusting exposure, contrast, white-balance, vibrance and sharpness. Crop within the app and use the advanced network options to save the images or transfer to multiple devices, social media, Dropbox, FTP and more. You can also remotely control the camera from within the App on a tablet, including changing the camera settings. Touch to focus, zoom, fine-tune and remotely capture an image. CamRanger 2 can do more advanced exposure bracketing than cameras' built-in options. You can bracket aperture, ISO or shutter speed and take up to 50 shots! The new save feature enables saving and loading HDR sequences and much more.
