An extremely useful filter kit, comprising the three most popular solid or full Neutral Density (ND) filters: ND2, ND4 and ND8.

Designed so that absolutely no color from the entire visible spectrum prevails, the neutral density filters can be used in many different contexts, depending on which type is used : uniform shading (square) or graduated shading (rectangular).

Uniform ND filters reduce the quantity of light that reaches the sensor – or the film – increasing the exposure time. These filters have 3 main practical applications: emphasizing the flow of movement, reducing the depth of field, avoiding overexposure.

• ND2 filter (P152) with 1-stop density
• ND4 filter (P153) with 2-stop density
• ND8 filter (P154) with 3-stop density

Cokin P152 Neutral Grey ND2

This ND plain filter reduces the amount of light reaching the film, but without affecting the colour balance. Authorizes a 1 stop Shutter speed/Aperture decrease.

Cokin P153 Neutral Grey ND4

This ND plain filter reduces the amount of light reaching the film, but without affecting the balance. Authorizes a 2 stops Shutter speed/Aperture decrease.

Cokin P154 Neutral Grey ND8

This ND plain filter reduces the amount of light reaching the film, but without affecting the balance. Authorizes a 3 stops Shutter speed/Aperture decrease.
