Named for the iconic lead singer of industrial rock band, Nine Inch Nails, Trent is a rock star amongst boy-bands. Solid, stable, rugged and with an edge of insanity...
High & Dry
Trent's full extended height is a dizzying 2 m / 80 ". Capable of lateral loads as well as vertical, Trent makes an awesome boom for cameras or microphones.
For those about to rock
Constructed and precision engineered from aircraft-grade magnesium alloy, with a maximum tube diameter of 29mm, Trent is like a rock.
Trent's versatility comes from dual threads at either end. A spring assembly at the top enables the 3/8"-16 thread to retract below the 1/4"-20 thread encased within. At the foot is a 3/8"-16 thread, with a 1/4"-20 adapter sleeve.
At just 9g heavier than the Professional Carbon equivalent, Trent is a real contender for optimum build.
Thanks to Trent's unique construction, and standard thread sizes, he can also be used as a microphone or camera boom.
Max Load to Weight Ratio of 50:1
Trent can support weights of almost 50 times his own weight. With a 30 kg / 65 lb payload, Trent is capable of supporting even the heaviest of camera equipment.
3 Legged Thing's unique Bubble Grip technology provides maximum grip for ultimate security, and water dispersion.
Trent has a reach of over 2m, making him one of the tallest monopods in the world today.
3 Legged Thing DOCZ2 is a rugged foot stabiliser designed specifically to add stability to monopods.
With an alloy base construction, a rugged ABS top cover and rubber boot adjuster, Docz adds a stable, solid base for monopods with no flexing. The rubber adjuster controls the friction lock on Docz’ ball mount, enabling a smooth panning motion for action and sports photography. The ball mount has a 3/8”-16 thread.
The ball mount can also be locked upright for extra stability. Docz legs fold upwards, creating a more compact footprint for transportation.
