The FZ330 is a worthy successor to Panasonic's excellent FZ200, and the addition of 4K shooting, a touchscreen and speedier performance make it hard to beat for a mid-price bridge camera.

Newly incorporating Panasonic’s latest 4K photography and videography advances – including 4K Photo – the LUMIX DMC-FZ330 will change how you can capture the most magical moments, from distant wildlife scenes to live sport.
Getting closer to the moment with advanced LEICA DC lens
The LUMIX DMC-FZ330’s 25-600mm LEICA DC Lens with will get you closer to the scene and with an F2.8 aperture lens from wide to tele, in stunning clarity. With this wide zoom ratio, alongside Panasonic’s latest 5-Axis Hybrid O.I.S + (Optical Image Stabilisation) technology, the DMC-FZ330 will give you crisp clean images in almost every situation, even when shooting birds in the canopy or your children playing in the sea. The bridge camera’s Light Speed AF means you’ll never miss the shot, while new Depth from Defocus (DFD) technology shortens the focusing time even further by calculating the distance to the subject by evaluating two images with different sharpness levels.
Putting 4K within your reach
With the new addition of Panasonic’s latest 4K technologies, the DMC-FZ330 will put 4K shooting in the palm of your hand. 4K video provides four times the resolution and clarity of traditional Full HD, resulting in videos that jump from the screen, bringing scenes to life before your eyes. As a result of these advances, the DMC-FZ330 features new 4K Photo functionality that gives you the potential to totally change your photography. The 4K Pre-Burst, 4K Burst and 4K Burst Start&Stop modes allow you to extract an 8-megapixel still from 4K video footage with total control and precision. This means you can select the perfect image from even the most fleeting moments – such as a bird taking flight or a fish jumping from the water.
Stunning low light performance
The LUMIX DMC-FZ330’s 12-megapixel High Sensitivity MOS sensor and new Venus Engine maximise the sensitivity and speed of image processing, providing stunning picture quality even in low light. With image capture available at ISO 100-6400, you can get beautiful results every time, even in dark woodland or at dusk.
Enhanced control and mobility, letting you go further
In addition to these image quality innovations, the LUMIX DMC-FZ330 has also been designed and engineered so that it’s ready to go on the journey with you. Both splashproof and dustproof, the camera will let you go further in tough conditions so that you can always get the perfect shot. With a high-speed, 1440k-dot, 0.7x magnification OLED Live View Finder (LVF); 3 inch, 1040K free-angle Touch LCD and Dual Dial controls, you will have the shooting flexibility you need to get the most from any scene.
Creative control in your hands
The LUMIX DMC-FZ330 also boasts a wide range of connectivity and shooting options that maximise the control and creativity of your photography and videography, as well as allowing you to share your work instantly. A wide range of manual and creative modes put the photographic control in your hands. The camera also has integrated Wi-Fi connectivity for fast and easy sharing online, as well as allowing you to use your mobile device as a remote control. With the ability to change settings such as focus, aperture, shutter speed and ISO remotely, as well as triggering the shutter, you will be able to capture even the most timid wildlife.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ330 builds upon its popular predecessor, the FZ200, by principally adding a better viewfinder and LCD screen, touch-sensitive interface, faster autofocusing and start-up times, improved optical image stabilisation system, more robust weatherproof build, and of course,...
The Panasonic Lumix FZ300 offers a high quality f/2.8 constant aperture 24x optical zoom lens, and this, combined with a 12 megapixel 1/2.3inch sensor results in images that are detailed and crisp, with none of the over processing, and noise associated with higher resolution (16/18/20mp 1/2.3inch)...
Fast, feature-packed and excels for telephoto photography, the Panasonic FZ330 shows how a bridge camera should be done
The Lumix FZ330 / FZ300 keeps the earlier FZ200's 24x / f2.8 lens and 12 Megapixel MOS sensor, but upgrades the image processor, viewfinder and screen, along with adding support for 4k video and sealing the body against dust and moisture.
I bought this camera in January, so have used it for a few weeks now, and I love it. My previous cameras have been Nikon and canon entry level DSLRs. I wanted a larger zoom range without the weight and expense of interchangeable lenses, so looked at bridge options.
I purchased this to carry when I am out and about birding. I had existing DSLR but when carrying a spotting scope and binoculars I needed a lighter camera. I went with this as F2.8 and up to 600mm of reach (35mm equiv). I have been using it now for ten days and I am impressed.
I am very pleased with this camera...it wasn't my first choice when I purchased but am now very pleased with the pictures it takes. I recently found the 'AI' position and wow what a difference. My only down is the lens cover that just doesn't go on first time!!...usually 5 or 6 attempts.
Very pleased with the FZ330 easy to use great zoom and I am getting some really good pictures, also very light weight.
Personally, I believe this to be the best camera I have ever had. I have belonged to a camera club and taken a keen interest in photography for many years. The result is I love to be able to carry one camera, which covers most of my photographic interests rather than lugging around a tripod and...
Great camera for wild life easy to use still getting used to it really pleased with it
Horses for courses..... This camera delivers for the target market. As a general vacation, sports (in good light) stills/video camera, the FZ330 has no peers. The constant F2.8 aperture from 25-600mm is the headliner, but there are so many more features as well.
I love it. The sharp results. Not yet moved from the auto setting so cannot comment further.
Great Camera, but not perfect Prior to purchasing the FZ330, I owned a Panasonic Lumix FZ72. The FZ330 has fantastic capabilities for novices like myself. However, the AI mode can be temperamental as I have discovered after a photoshoot, some images can be blurred. This isn't easily spotted via the screen either. A major issue this camera has is the automatic date stamp function. The FZ72 had automatic date stamp meaning as you took a photo, it was date stamped immediately. The FZ330 does not have this, meaning every single image needs to be date stamped manually. On a more positive note, the image quality is fantastic, with easy aperture adjustment on AI mode. A good camera for a novice or someone who enjoys gadgets. Video quality is fantastic and low light capture is great too. I am not sure I would completely recommend this camera as the date stamp functionality issue costs me hours a week to do manually and temperamental AI mode can ruin images you only had one chance to capture.
I have used LUMIX cameras for a good many years. I am very pleased with this upgrade and it does all that I want and more
This is the first digital camera I have used since my analogue Single Lens Reflex (SLR) camera and the complexity of the Lumix is challenging me! Aart from the basic settings of the SLR, i.e. shutter speed, aperture, distance and flash, the Lumix has no less than 144 setting symbols that can be displayed on the touch screen or in the viewfinder. I'm still trying to understand how these should all be used. The fall-back position is to set the Lumix on the intelligent auto (iA) programme and on one of the autofocus settings. The camera feels very nice to handle and is well made. The touch screen and viewfinder are crystal clear. My only criticism is that the lens cover is awkward to use, particularly with the lens hood in place. The flaps that have to be pinched need redesigning to afford a non-slip grip. The photos and movies that I have taken have been pleasing, clear, sharp and natural colour. I have bought cables to connect to my Panasonic TV HDMI socket and the resulting images are impressive. I'm still learning, but so far, I'm delighted with the purchase.
Excellent lens and auto focussing, seems rugged. I use the camera as a substitute for an SLR on walking trips where I rarely changed lenses so I have a saving of weight and space.
