The list of pros and cons resembles more that of a not especially fortunate device with a price tag of just several hundred PLN. It is difficult to believe it describes a lens costing 4,000 PLN, aimed at advanced if not downright professional photographers.
The Nikon AF DX Fisheye-Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8G ED lens allows you to capture the world in a unique perspective, but it only autofocuses with select Nikon SLRs.
This new lens, the Nikon 16-35mm, is the world’s first ultra-wide zoom to offer vibration reduction (VR-II) technology. The What Digital Camera Nikon AF-S 16-35mm f/4G review finds out how it fares
Overall this lens is a very good all round performer being capable of producing images of very good resolution, especially in the centre of the frame where the performance is excellent up to 24mm and very good thereafter.
The 16-35mm ƒ/4G VR is an impressive design, providing excellent results for sharpness at its wider angles. It's evident that the optics of this lens are quite complex, to deliver high sharpness across the frame with only moderate chromatic aberration and vignetting and at a relatively affordable...
I have used this lens for nearly 2 years and have achieved some excellent results with both my Nikon D700 and D800. I use a 24mm-70mm f2.8 lens for more general work but use the 16-35mm nearly as much. Purchased this from WEX after reading some of the very encouraging reviews.
I originally used this lens underwater, in a long domed port, to take photographs of fish. I now use it, with filters, on land. I like the filters, but I have periodic worries about the sharpness of my images, particularly at the edges.
I bought this lens as a wide angle lens that I could use with filters and would be a good partner to my already owned Nikon 24-70. I have been very pleased with my purchase in general, It doesn't have quite the build quality or nice finishing of the 24-70 but then it doesn't have the price tag...

Far more practical than the Nikon f2.8 12-24. Having looked at both, the loss of one stop is no problem at all. Lets be honest if you're using this you're 99% of the time shooting at f8 and above. Used with my D810 the quality is superb.

this is a very excellent lens, its not f2.8 but then you save on weight, and if you think about it why would you wany a f2.8 as a wide angle anyway? as the depth of field isnt that shallow anyway. vr is brilliant and the lens is razor sharp just as my f2.8 24-70mm nikon
