Canon's EOS range are some of the world's best selling autofocus SLR cameras, and the EOS 750 35mm film model is very simple to use, and compatible with the vast range of Canon EF and independent EOS-fit lenses (not included - see below). With just one dial, one switch and a shutter release, this could be one of the simplest SLR cameras ever! This one's in good condition and comes with original printed instruction manual, body cap, rubber eyecup and Lithium battery.

Auto exposure in intelligent program mode, where the camera sets shutter speed and aperture automatically, and varies the exposure settings to optimise them for different lenses. For example, it will set faster shutter speeds with longer lenses to reduce the chance of camera shake. Shutter speeds from 2 seconds to 1/2000th. The exposure mode dial is large and easy to operate, and includes positions for battery check, lock (off) and self timer. The latter gives an audible signal as it counts down, and can be cancelled if required by turning the camera off.

Plus, Canon's unique depth of field mode calculates the correct aperture to ensure both subject and background are in focus automatically! You simply point the camera at the closest object you want in focus and press the shutter release slightly, point it at the furthest point and press again, then reframe the picture as you want it and take the picture. Canon SLRs are the only cameras with this excellent feature, and the DEP mode included here is superior to the A-DEP option used on some newer cameras.

The viewfinder has an illuminated AE indicator (which appears when the shutter release is pressed slightly), and this flashes slowly to warn of slow shutter speeds, or quickly to indicate over exposure. First pressure also locks focus and exposure settings, which is useful if the main subject isn't in the centre of the picture.
