The Dynax 3000i was one of Minolta's second generation 35mm film autofocus cameras, and was sold in some countries as the Maxxum 3000i. It's compatible with a huge range of Minolta AF lenses (not included, but check our other listings), plus those from independent manufacturers such as Tamron, Tokina, Sigma and many others. This one is in fully working order and good condition, supplied with instruction manual, extra book and the special dedicated Minolta flash unit. The camera has two exposure modes; fully auto (program) and high speed program. The camera sets the shutter speed and aperture automatically, and the high speed option selects faster shutter speed and wider apertures where possible, for sports and action photography. The shutter has speeds from 4 seconds to 1/2000th, set automatically. There's an auto exposure lock for taking close up or off-centre readings of difficult subjects.

The built in auto winder loads, winds and rewinds the film automatically, and a delayed action (self timer) feature is provided for self portraits. Film speeds are set automatically with DX coded films, from ISO 25 to 5000. Power is supplied by a standard 2CR5 Lithium battery (included). An LCD information panel on the top plate includes exposure mode, self timer, frame counter and battery condition.
