The Olympus 135mm F3.5 Zuiko OM is an amazingly compact moderate telephoto lens at 135mm. The construction is equipped with a built-in retractable hood.

Being rather small, it features magnificent optical qualities. It is sharp when wide open. From f/ 5.6 onward it is extremely sharp. Contrast is good, almost no optical distortions visible. Images have nice natural colours. It is quite resistant to back lighting.

In order to ensure high image quality the Olympus 135mm F3.5 Zuiko OM uses a unique optical scheme consisting of five elements, instead of ordinary four. The extra element after MTF testing considerably improved resolution and contrast.
