The OM10 is a single lens reflex (SLR) camera manufactured by the Olympus Corporation in 1979. It is a focal plane shutter system, which usually comes with a 50 mm F1.8 standard lens to expose a 35 mm film. It is part of the OM series of cameras and compatible with the OM system of Zuiko interchangeable lenses. At one time, this was the most versatile and sophisticated 35 mm system available. It was a huge step forward in automatic photography due to the electronic automation of the exposure control.
