Coming a couple of years after the 200D made its debut, the 250D sits almost at the bottom of Canon’s DSLR line-up, designed to capture the imagination of beginner photographers. Many of the same specifications have been carried over from its older model, but one interesting new addition is 4K video...
The EOS Rebel SL3 / EOS 250D blends a number of tried-and-tested features with a mount that accepts an endless array of lenses, and its small size, battery life and general performance are all solid.
The Canon EOS 250D offers a compact DSLR, with Canon’s typical, and excellent, colour reproduction. Noise performance is improved compared to other entry-level Canon, and Nikon DSLRs.
A camera with the potential to turn keen photographers into obsessives. Good value for money meets good usability and image quality
An ideal starter’s DSLR that can take lovely photos so long as you work within its limitations
The Canon EOS 250D / Rebel SL3 is a rather modest upgrade of the 2-year-old Canon EOS 200D / Rebel SL2, principally adding 4K video recording, a much-improved Live View experience and longer battery life to justify its introduction.
The Canon EOS Rebel SL3 is a great option for beginners that are looking to get serious about photography. It's comfortable to hold, fun to use, and has a useful guide mode to help you learn photography's basics in real time.
What We Love. The simple, lightweight design of the Canon Rebel EOS SL3 DSLR camera makes it perfect to use for a full day of photography while on the move. It has multiple lenses available, so you gain far more versatility in the types of photos you can shoot versus a mirrorless ILC.
The Canon EOS Rebel SL3 is one the smallest SLRs available, but its autofocus system struggles with fast-moving subjects.
I have had the 250D for almost two years now and I have found that it has been a brilliant product to begin my photography journey. The 24..1Megapixel CMOS sensor provides plenty of detail and its autofocus system is intuitive in its use and nails focus the majority of the time.
ISO performance could be better but duel pixel autofocus canons colour science and the ability to shoot 4k video finishes morethen compansates for that.As a kit it is brilliant mine came with 2x canon batterysA 32GB ultima pro SD card A rode video mic go A joby gorilla pod with a head to angle And...
Great Novice / Vlogger camera with a 3″ flipout screen. Kit lens is basic but 50mm or 24mm pancake lens works well with this camera to give a good vlogging setup. Preset filters are mediocre and is probably best to use in post production.
For an entry level camera and your not confident and just want to use the auto setting this is the camera for you. As when using other settings it tells you on the touch screen what to do or what the setting you've chosen, what it does.
As someone new to photography beyond by iPhone, I found this camera easy to use and learn the basic functions of. It felt comfortable to carry and use, and I was surprised by just how much better the output was than my usual phone snaps. Taking my family memories to another level of quality...

Just a beginner. Wanted to learn and be able to take good photos and video. Studied reviews of this camera and just what I required starting out. Really pleased with the product and all it’s accessories. Willing to learn how to use it properly which will take some time. Would recommend this camera.
I bought this camera a few months ago now, pre-pandemic! I have used it quite regularly throughout the pandemic, it has great features for photographers and videographers alike, its light and small enough to carry it around without straining your shoulder and neck, you can alter the brightness and...
It's a great camera for beginners with all features installed and it's very convenient to understand. It's also a great product for potrait and landscape since it's has best sensor compared to other entry level DSLRs.
A welcome upgrade from my Canon 450D. I now have video though my DSLR. The 250D and the 55-250mm lens are a good combination, although erly days as I have not had the opportinity to fully exploit this tech. From the ikmages I have sent him, a pro photographer friend of mine likes the combo. Camera World delivered as one would want and expect, though its chosen service.
